Wild Beauty

Just on the periphery of my vision, her voice singular and immediately noticeable in a crowded room

Siren Whispers

She is the wild beauty

He aches to claim

Bewitching curves

That entice him to sin

Eyes that see right to the heart of him

And a smile he wishes to taste

Upon his lips

She is the wild beauty

Whose voice

Soft and tender

Whispers to his soul

Whose laughter

Lilts through his day

And makes him smile

Whose own soul

Drawn inexorably to him

Is so tender

That he feels her light

On his darkest days

A light he knows

Will warm him

In his deepest winter

A light he knows

Burns just for him
