Where do you find a heart?

The TinMan had to follow a few yellow bricks

But I think it beat long before that start

It just took a few fellow souls to help his tick

They say no man is an island

Although many act as if they are

Build their castles, but the walls make them asylums

Forgetting they are constellations, not just one star

Hard to see hearts these days

People don’t seem to stitch them on their sleeves

For fear of being seen weak or cast astray

Did they disappear from the likes of Cupid & his thieves?

Or does it take a natural disaster or despair

For our fellow man to stumble & reveal

That which tells him where to follow~if he dares

~Maybe mankind thinks he needs to conceal

When ‘Once Upon A Times’ don’t come true

And ‘Happily Ever Afters’ never have a chance-
