Gone

Are you still here or are you truly gone?
Didn’t our words mean anything to you?
That I always supported you, never saying anything negative, reinforcing your good?
Do you really believe I would treat anyone differently? That I would utter something cruel or with malice? That we would part at some point in time is a given and I always thought it would be as friends. Your sudden departure and the manner was unexpected on many levels. Regardless of what you feel or believe I do and will always wish you well.
